@uofmfan - I don't think that's a bad idea, but the argument that these guys might get severely injured in college while leaving millions on the table

@uofmfan - doctors, lawyers, etc. don't require extra school to make them more mature, though

@uofmfan - but that's because you need certain skills to be a competent doctor, lawyer, etc. Kids entering the NBA have the skills to play ball

@uofmfan - I just don't see the reason to prevent an 18+ year old from working because he happens to be a professional athlete

@uofmfan - but that shouldn't bar them from entering the workforce. Maybe the NBA as an organization, though, should require/provide financial advice
