@Vicksnewpuppy- Media darling or not how many times a year can you watch them play Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Reserves, am I missing any?

@Vicksnewpuppy- Even crappy teams play in a conference. They need to clean house with everyone and start over, I think that would help alot!

@uofmfan - Not if you are a media darling like ND, luckily, they suck. If they put together a decent year, they may have a shot at it.

Would also allow them to play for a BCS championship. It is virtually impossible to do that as an independent.

@Vicksnewpuppy- ND's recruiting would improve vastly if they would get into a conference. This would allow them to win a conference championship
