Well it looks like Gonzalez has done about as well as I expected... ie: poorly. A's down 3-1 in the 6th already.

Well we'll see. Gonzalez was lights out in his last AAA start (8 shutout innings), but we all know the bigs are a bit different.

With first time starter Gio Gonzalez going I'd say it's a safe bet the A's starting pitching won't be dominating. Not unless the beginners luck hits.
